Semacon S-2200 Bank Grade Single Pocket Currency Discriminator

The Semacon S-2200 Bank Grade Single Pocket Currency Discriminator is designed with Semacon's SmartFeed™ technology for maximum accuracy in high volume applications and is used by banks, credit unions, casinos, large retailers and other industries. It features heavy duty construction, operational flexibility and ease of use.

This discriminator was developed specifically for banks and other businesses with high cash volumes and is capable of continuous operation in the harshest environments. It features a color graphic touchscreen display and control panel and is one of the most compact single pocket discriminators available.

The Semacon model S2200 Bank Grade Single Pocket Currency Discriminator is intended for use in high volume environments such as banks, credit unions, casinos and large retailers where mixed bill value counting is required. This discriminator is one of the most compact single pocket currency discriminators available and features a user friendly color graphic touchscreen control panel making it an excellent solution for a variety of applications.

Our SmartFeed™ Advanced Banknote Feed System Technology rapidly and reliably processes banknotes of all conditions ranging from very worn to brand new. Multiple processing modes enable the operator to value count, verify, batch and organize banknotes quickly and efficiently. 

Precision Counting Accuracy & Error Detection
The S-2200 is engineered with Semacon’s SmartCount™ intelligent banknote screening system which analyzes each banknote to detect all possible types of banknote feeding errors. This technology ensures the most accurate counts available in a desktop currency discriminator.

Advanced Counterfeit Detection Technology
This model offers Semacon’s SmartDetect™ Advanced Counterfeit Detection System designed to pinpoint suspect banknotes featuring ultraviolet (UV), magnetic (MG), fluorescence (FL), metal thread (MT) and infrared (IR) detection technologies for the most accurate counterfeit detection available in a desktop Currency Discriminator.

Flexible Operating Modes
The S-2200 can be operated in a variety of discrimination modes, including mixed bill value counting, bill stack verification (wrong denomination detection), face verification and orientation verification. The machine can also be used as a currency counter without denomination recognition, operating at a range of speeds from 800 to 1500 notes per minute. Batching, subtotaling and continuous add mode are also supported.

Optional Thermal Printer
This machine is available with an optional thermal printer enabling the operator to print a detailed receipt containing the current subtotals or accumulated totals. Semacon Quality Promise All Semacon machines are extensively tested and burned in under rigorous conditions in our US facility, assuring the highest possible quality and reliability.

    I never leave reviews but since i had to go back and buy another one of these for a new location I thought i would let you know my experience with this machine has been nothing short of perfect. If you're on the bubble you really can't go wrong, and we also own the 2500 model with the reject pocket--just as happy with it

    This machine does exactly what we need. Counting cash quick and accurately. the price wasn't too much more than our old machine that counldn't count mixed cash. I suppose the 2500 with the reject pocket would have been nice to have for the extra money. i guess at the time i didn't think a reject pocket was big deal, I can why its a cool option but this machine was priced right. And shipped the same day like they said so its good.

    Not even kidding this machine cut my work from noon to 4 on Sundays to noon to 2. 2 hours i now have more than I used to and everything is perfectly accurate. Great purchase

    We have used this for 2 months now and it is a great machine. Might have been better to go with the 2500 model because of the reject pocket for the extra cash but this is one still does the job

    was worried that this machine would have problems feeding money like our old counter. The guy we spoke to was right, you can't compare junk to a machine designed for banks. You get what you pay for and this machine wasn't too much more. well worth it.

    This does exactly as they say. A great machine though I can why the person I spoke to said the 2500 with the reject bin was going to be a time saver. Next time I will upgrade to that but I have nothing but great things to say about the 2200. Its a good machine, built well (as far as I can tell because of its weight). Easy to use. You can't go wrong, but for a little extra more take a look at the 2500.

    This is a good machine and works perfect for us. So glad we went with this instead of the local office store counter. This one can tell the difference between each bill. Run a stack of mixed cash and get a total and breakdown what you had. Its slick.
